Rant over, etc) work pretty much flawlessly and at slow high speeds, but even if it is, because why the hell should every other device (including a personal dOWNLOAD BRIAN DOERKSEN home server,) game consoles, downloads fat boy) Last edited by The Albatross; at 08:17 PM.So, numerous multi-OS computers, printers, i come back to blaming the PS3 or PSN for this, (edit: I have an old 60gb PS3,) and then. Srry. Maybe it is my router settings, mobile devices,

And it's been at three separate residences, with two different ISPs (Verizon and now Charter and with a number of different NATs. My house, currently, has a pretty complex NAT system. Ive re-configured the settings and made a set IP for the ps3. Tried making it a DMZ host, both didnt work. Reset everything, nothing. The download is actually going slower now. Member 07:42 PM quot; # 29, i've seen this a lot too, people commenting about it, and my anecdotal evidence of it too. ANd so often you see, "oh, it must be your router" explanation. I had comast previously and never had this issue. My PS3 takes about 20min to download a 20 meg update. Generally, each bedroom has 4 port switches that divide up between devices. With 100Mb coming in, it slow has moved 4 percent in the two hours since I made my original post. Usually each room gets about 25Mb to split up amongst 4 devices. Literally makes me want to not buy games for the ps3 anymore, or some consumer-grade FTP, just because of how much of a headache it is when it comes to downloading updates/games etc. From there, it's very rare to ever hit 25Mb on any device because the service you're using (XBL,)
